Thanks to the Club Illusion management, we were added ( once again very last minute-but better late than never ) to the line-up from the insane Belgian CityParade in Liege/Luik. Although the weather was not what completely we hoped for, the 200.000 partypeople were still going nuts in the streets… We had a F*in’ blast together with the Illusion crew & resident Dj’s, got really wasted… and took over 3hours to find our car back after the event! Anyways… somebody sent us this cool video… so… enjoy!

What a great weekend we had… first of all we did a surprise act on the official, but unannounced, preparty for the 1000’s of CRAZY partypeople arriving on the Tomorrowland camping area. Our good friend diMaro did a fantastic job heating up the atmosphere, so we had a great crowd ,ready to go crazy!
On the 25th of July we had the pleasure closing off the first day of Tomorrowland at the ‘Flugel Island’ Stage… courtesy of the Belgian House Mafia. We had an amazing crowd among the 45.000 clubbers that found their way to the event and had a blast doing our 2 hour set. Because of the many, many requests, we recorded the session for you guys to enjoy…
Once again it’s packed with exclusives from some of our Dj-friends… loads of brandnew own new productions,remixes, bootlegs, & live mashup’s. There is no tracklist available to prevent abuse…

Our new remix on Joia/Nero Records just hit the Beatport charts @ place 86… You can find it in the ‘Albin Myers – Times Like These Remixes Pt 2 EP’ along with the TV Rock & Luke Chable Mix
Finally the track made it to the most popular platforms (amongst others)… It’s already doing really well on Itunes, getting top 20 positions in the Dance Chart & Top 100 positions in the General Charts!
As most people know, this track has been bubbling under for some time… It started out as a bootleg from the Brother Brown/Deep Dish classic but we actually got the original singer, Marie Frank, to back us up on this release. We’re really happy that this is not some cheap cover… thanks a lot Marie!
For the release we collaborated once more with Mostiko/CNR, who will release the tune digitally and on vinyl on ‘Belgian House Mafia’, Dave Lambert’s imprint… The first reactions have been amazing, getting great feedback and track support of artists like Axwell, Erick Morillo, David Guetta , David Tort, David Vendetta,, Sander Van Doorn, Nicola Fasano, Abel Ramos, Starkillers, Peter Gelderblom, … and the list is growing every day. Also Mr Tiesto presented the track on his worldwide ‘Clublife‘ radioshow on July 17th ( we used his broadcasting as the video preview ) .
The track was also listed on 4th place in the USA Masspool Promo-platform, along artists like Coldplay, Madonna, 50Cent, Kanye West, Black Eyed Peas, …
The first package will be dropped on Beatport on July 24th, the day before our gig @ ID&T’s Tomorrowland, so we’re really hyped about those dates! The release will include our original ‘6AM Terrace Mix’, an amazing underground ‘Lissat & Voltax Mix‘ ( these guys have been doing some real damage, releasing on Toolroom, Kingdom Kome Cuts and of course you’ll remember their banging rework of ’Silence’ by Delirium ) and also an FTW edit, which has a very pop-ish radio-orientated sound and has been Belgium Topradio’s most requested tune for weeks.
As we speak some really talented artists/friends are working on a remixpackage… which we can promise you will also be HUGE!
A while ago we did this bootleg as we really loved the ‘Gossip-Heavy Cross’ tune… we noticed it because it was played 24/7 on the German MTV Channel-which obviously was the only decent channel we had in our apartment in Ibiza.
We did a first rough version and before really testing it decently, already sent it to a few people… not very smart – because unfortunately someone had the disrespect of leaking it -within 24 hours- on some forum… a week later it was all over the net on virtually every blog-ruining every shot we had of making this an official thing. Thanks for that…

It’s the same version that’s already spread… we didn’t take the time or effort to do the final tweaks on the track or master it as we don’t see the point. I don’t want to start preaching that blogs are bad and all that shit, as some blogs really do good work and support the artists… and for less-known producers the extra promo is very welcome.
But the f*kers that come and ask for promo’s and exclusives and then can’t stand the urge to rapidly give it out or post it for some unknown reason… should get swine flue ( as Dirty South so elegantly put it, when some asshole leaked their remix of ‘Temper Traps” ) ! Also the blogs that post releases (or high quality rips of tracks) weeks before they’re on Beatport, so they get overplayed before even being officially out… Come on guys-Wake up! That’s not supporting-that’s ruining artists… but at the end I still blame the people that provide them the files. As those are people that are ‘friends’ of producers or have acces to VIP-Promopools and should definitely know better!! And then people wonder why Dj’s like Axwell won’t post any more sets or most producers won’t give out promo’s,… screwing the people who appreciate the privilege of getting an exclusive every now & then… “But why should WE not get any exclusives” I can hear a lot of people say… yes that’s true… but if it’s on every fucking blog out there-it’s hard to still call it an exclusive, no? And if people were more carefull with the exclusives they get, producers would be less paranoid to give one out & since we’re all on facebook, twitter, ect one might actually end up in your hands the PROPER way… do the math!
Ok… so much for not preaching! I know there are a lot of points & opinions in this whole issue… but I don’t have the time to make this a 100 page essay. I’m always interested in you point of view… so feel free to drop me a line!
Anyways, this remix wast given out to many people before it leaked.. so the RAT is not far away… we’ll just have to be more carefull in the future!
